Pierre Andre Threet was born July 25, 1947 in Omaha, NE to Bernice Ware and Edward Threet. He is of Cherokee and Muscogee Creek tribes and was adopted as a brother in the Omaha tribe from his sister Chloe Bell. He was one of three brothers, Anatole Threet and the late Eddie Threet.
He moved to Denver, CO where he met his wife Letitia White Bull-Threet. They married on May 30, 1972. His daughter Lisa Threet was born in 1977 and he began working for Coors Brewing company in that same year. He was able to retire from Coors after working 25+ years. While working for Coors, they started a Native American group called the Native North American Indian Council and they held a powwow every year in Golden, CO. He loves to gourd dance and Southern Straight dance at powwows.
He loved to go fishing and camping and spend time outdoors. He loved to read books and listen to oldies and country music. He also attended church every Sunday and Wednesday and prayed daily and read the bible daily.
His favorite was being a grandpa. There was nothing that he loved more than his grandkids. He loved to deliver fruits and goodies to them almost daily and get hugs and kisses from them.
Pierre is survived by his brother Anatole, wife Letitia, daughter Lisa, and many grandkids and great-grandbabies.
He will lay resting close to his mother and brother.
There will be a reception to follow with food catered in. At the Alli Event Center.
