Rachel Marie Fuentes

Rachel Marie Fuentes, 33, of Commerce City, passed away at home on August 21, 2023.  Rachel was born on August 4, 1990 in Pine Ridge, South Dakota to Teresa and Daniel Fuentes and was the youngest of three siblings.

Rachel spent most of her life in Brighton, CO.  She worked as a cashier in several different establishments and enjoyed meeting new people everywhere she went; many of them became her close friends.  She also worked at a tattoo shop, which was something she was very passionate about.

She loved spending time in the mountains or fishing with her family.  She also loved attending concerts with her friends.  Rachel was an amazing artist, she loved creating portraits for her boys, family and friends.  She recently took up crocheting and, just like her, her creations were unique.

Rachel is survived by her two sons Ezekiel, 11 and Israel, 9 of Denver, Colorado; parents Daniel Fuentes of Commerce City, Colorado and Teresa Fuentes of Ft. Lupton, Colorado.  Survivors also include her brothers Ernie Fuentes of Ft. Lupton, Colorado and Owen Reddest of San Diego, California and her sisters Kayla Twiss of Martin, South Dakota and Tiffany Cottier of Rapid City, South Dakota; nieces Jericha Fuentes of Ft. Lupton, Colorado & Dolly Fuentes of Thornton, Colorado and nephew Deion Fuentes of Ft. Lupton, Colorado; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.  She is preceded in death by her brother Geno Fuentes.
