Rafael Joaquín Chacón Morales, conocido como Joaquín por su familia y como Raf por sus amigos, nació el 13 de Noviembre de 1993 en Denver, Colorado, y falleció en esa misma y querida ciudad el 19 de junio de 2026, tras una valiente batalla contra el cáncer. Vivió con un espíritu extraordinario y, aunque sus días en la tierra fueron demasiado breves, su presencia estuvo llena de risas, lealtad y amor.

Fue el amado hijo de Francisca Chacón y José Chacón, así como un preciado hermano, esposo, padre y tío cuya presencia brindaba consuelo y alegría a su familia. Le recuerdan con cariño su esposa, Gabriela Muñoz, y sus hijas, Catalina y Marianna, quienes fueron el deleite de su corazón y la mayor alegría de su vida. Sin embargo, su apoyo no se limitaba a ellos; también era un fiel seguidor de los Rockies, los Avalanche y los Nuggets, y los seguía con el entusiasmo de alguien que ama la emoción del juego y la fraternidad que este genera.
