Ralph Brown

Ralph Brown, 73, of Federal Heights, CO, passed away on January 12, 2021 after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Denver, CO, on July 3, 1947, son of Carroll Brown and Teddy (Theodora) Brown (Boyd). He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He completed bootcamp at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.

Ralph spent 19 years in service of our country and rose to his highest rank of Master Sergeant. Ralph military occupation was Electronics and Weapons Guidance Systems. From 1974 to 1982, he was a Weapons Guidance System Instructor at Lowry AFB in Denver. On occasion needing to spend extra time with students on the weekend he would take his sons along. Climbing on aircraft and sitting in the cockpit remain special memories for his sons.

His service involved deployments to Thailand and Iceland. He maintained a lifelong love of Iceland.

After leaving the Air Force, Ralph worked in transportation. Spending more than a decade with Northeast Seafood as both a driver and delivery driver supervisor. The past 11 years Ralph worked with his son, Tom, and grandson, Grant, in the family business.

Ralph is survived by his 3 sons, Tom (Kelly), Gary and James. He is also survived by his two sisters, Margaret (Steve) and Marilyn (Jay), 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

A service will be held, Friday, January 22, 2021 at 10 AM at Elmwood Cemetery, 14800 Old Brighton Road, Brighton, CO.
