After marrying her late husband Stanley John Palka, they moved to Denver, Colorado, where she spent most of her time raising her children, only leaving for a short time to Orleans France and San Francisco.

Along with raising a big family, Ramona’s personality landed her in the center of everything fun. She enjoyed leading roles in theater at Bonfils and Arvada center. When she wasn’t starring in theater, she enjoyed singing gigs in the Denver night club scene. Eventually landing a job behind the scenes for Columbia Pictures premiering movie titles like Funny Girl, Lost Horizon, and Bite the Bullet to name a few, all over the country.
Eventually she returned to Kansas to help her sister, care for their ailing mother until she passed and she returned to Colorado. Ramona lived the last of her years in Fort Lupton with her son Michael. She enjoyed volunteering and working at the recreation center until covid shut everything down. Ramona loved sewing and quilting and spending time with her family. She lived a remarkable life, loved by so many, we are grateful for the beautiful memories we shared.
