Randy Mark Case

Randy Mark Case, 65, passed away peacefully at home on June 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Randy was born on September 19, 1960, in Brighton, Colorado, to Leonard and Luanne (Tartaglia) Case. He grew up with a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family, friendships, and the simple joys of life.

Randy spent many years working in the oil fields before building a successful career as a lineman for several companies throughout his life. He took tremendous pride in his work and was always willing to share his knowledge with others entering the trade. Respected by coworkers and friends alike, Randy earned a reputation as a legend in his field—not only for his skill and dedication, but for his generosity and commitment to teaching others.

In March 2012, a chance encounter changed Randy’s life. While standing in the checkout line at Ace Hardware, he reconnected with Kim Parker, a friend he had known since he was 16 years old. What began as a random meeting blossomed into a beautiful love story. Randy and Kim were married on August 29, 2015, and shared many wonderful years together.

Together, Randy and Kim enjoyed traveling and creating memories around the world. His favorite destination was Jamaica, but their adventures also took them to Belize, Canada, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Mexico. Closer to home, Randy cherished camping trips in the mountains of Wyoming and spending time at their Lake Havasu home with family and friends, where laughter, storytelling, and time spent outdoors brought him immense happiness.

Although Randy had no biological children, he loved his family deeply and proudly considered his stepdaughters and step-granddaughter as his own. Family was one of the greatest joys of his life.

Randy will be forever cherished and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Kim Case; his daughters, Nicolette Schraeder and Megan Schraeder; his granddaughter, Hailey Guerrero; his father, Leonard Case; his brothers, Gary Case (Terri Irsik) and Ken Case (Stephanie); his sister-in-law, Diana Case; and his stepsons from a previous marriage, Josh Doll and Seth Doll.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Luanne Case, and his brother, Greg Case.

In keeping with Randy’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on June 27, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at the Elks Lodge in Brighton, Colorado. Taco bar from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Guests are encouraged to wear a shirt with a funny or sarcastic saying—a fitting tribute to Randy’s sense of humor and the things that always made him smile.

Randy’s legacy of hard work, loyalty, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and coworkers for years to come.
