Rene C. Buchholz

Rene Charles Buchholz (75) of Brighton, Colorado passed from this life on 11/15/25.  Born to Vincent and Mary Ann Buchholz of Roggen, CO. Rene attended Sacred Heart grade school in Roggen, then St. John Vianney High school at Elk Horn, NE, and last of all attended UNC in Greeley, CO.  He was a lifelong member of the Sacred Heart Parish in Roggen, and it was clear to see his unshakable faith in God. His example of love of God and neighbor was an inspiration to all who knew him.  Rene remained single his whole life and his passions were family, raising poultry, fishing, hunting, and fruit trees.  In 2019 he was diagnosed with Parkinson decease. He is survived by his siblings: Sister Virginia Buchholz, Palos Verdes, CA - Mark (Sonya Kern) Buchholz, Burnett, TX – William Buchholz, Brighton, CO – Philip (Jeanne Green), Roggen. Nieces and Nephews: Elizabeth (Brian), Joseph, Matthew (Caitlin), Peter (Meaghan), Paul (Liz), John, Catherine, and Sarah. Great Nephews:  Anthony, Luke and Owen.  Preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Mary Ann Buchholz, and Sister-in-law, Susie.
