Richard D. Brandt

Richard Brandt, 80, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on April 27, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.  Richard was born to Otto-Emil and Evelyn Marie Brandt on January 17th, 1940 in Ryder, North Dakota. Richard graduated from Ryder High School and Minot State University.  He was a retired real estate broker and after thirty years in the business, he retired.

Richard loved spending time with family and friends.  He loved camping, making jewelry and spending as much time as he could with his grandson Hunter.

Richard was preceded in death by both of his parents.  He is survived by his daughters; Cari Marie Hewit and Shawnee (Samuel) Boyd, grandson Hunter Boyd, nieces Paula Gayle Carter and Raegan Lynn Carter-Owen as well as many loving friends.  He will truly be missed in every way.

A  Funeral Service for Richard will be held at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home; 75 South 13th Avenue, Brighton, Colorado, on Thursday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m.  Richard's final resting place will be next to his father at Rosehill Cemetery in Ryder, North Dakota.
