Richard Edmund Therrien

Richard E. Therrien, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Colorado on Wednesday, March 26, 2025.

He was born in Lowell on December 28, 1963, the son of the late Norman and Irene (Fontaine) Therrien. Richard was raised in Lowell and graduated from Greater Lowell Technical High School. He lived in Colorado for the past 26 years and was successful with his company, Solid Construction, which he operated for 20 years.

Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and boating. He had a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his siblings, Norman Therrien, Jr., Paul Therrien and his wife, Lynne, Arthur Therrien and his wife, Sue, Terri Gorsuch and her husband, Jim, Denise English and her husband, Dave, Carol Robinson and her husband, Gene, Lucille McCabe and her husband, Bobby and Gloria Therrien. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. He was a brother of the late Leo Therrien.

Funeral services for Richard will be held privately.
