Bob was born and raised in Brighton, Colorado to Paul Candelarie and Caroline Baldonaldo. He had three sisters (Barbara, May and Marie) and seven brothers (Benji, Efrin, Joe, Julian, Lawrence andTony). He married Hope Candelarie on November 9th 1992. Bob was a loving father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Bob spent the majority of his life in Brighton, Colorado. In 1949 at the age of 15, he joined the army. He worked at Colorado Auto Auction for 30 years. Bobs favorite hobbies included: fishing, watching football, watching his great grandkids play sports, farming, joking around. He also enjoyed long phone conversations with his siblings. Whenever his grandsons were working on a project he was always right there and wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, he would even jump in to help. Wherever his grandkids were, he wanted to be. He also loved to relax on his recliner with his dog Bruno.
Bob is preceded in death by both of his parents and two daughters, Joann and Amy Candelarie.
Bob is survived by his wife Hope Candelarie, along with his eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; Jeff/Gina Reyna (Wasaka, Misun, Nito, Wiyaka, Nizhoni, and Amy), Robert Reyna (Layanna), Raymon/Malori Reyna (Raymon Jr., Julian, and J’lee), Jeremy Candelarie and Paul/Alyssa Saenz. His stepson Ted/Jamie Hernandez and his grandchildren Rebecca/Vincent Solano (Isaiah, Aaliyah, and Emilia), Phillip Hernandez (Avery) and King James Hernandez.
