Robert W. Hazlet

Robert William Hazlet (Robbie) age 59 of Hudson CO passed away on February 28 2019 in his home. He was born to James W. Hazlet and Monte Parkison Hazlet on December 7 1959 in Denver Colorado.

He lived on the farm in Hudson Colorado all his life. He had many duties on the farm including planting, harvest, cows, pigs and fixing fence. Robbie was a friend to many going out of his way to make a new friend. Robbie was a graduate of Brighton High School in 1978. Robbie had first chair with his trombone and played in the jazz band. Robbie also played the piano by ear and read sheet music.

In 1981 he married Virginia Rollman at the Kingsburg church of Christ. They had two boys Darain William Hazlet and Andrew Craig Hazlet.

Robbie’s biggest joy was his two grandsons Harold James Hazlet and John Benjamin Hazlet. He loved talking Donald duck to every child he met.

Robbie loved the barn cats making sure to doctor them if they were sick or injured.

Robbie will be missed by his parents, wife, children, grandchildren, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

In place of flowers, donations may be made to the Denver Dumb Friends in his name

MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ, 1929 E. Egbert Street, Brighton, CO 80601.
