Robert Carrick Hogle

Robert Carrick Hogle passed away at the age of 82 on October 24, 2024, following a long struggle with Parkinsons disease. Bob was born on March 1, 1942, in Great Barrington, MA to Walter Sherwood Hogle and Jessie (Bowerhan) Hogle. He was raised in Pleasantville, NY and graduated from Pleasantville High School and Kentucky Wesleyan College. He married Janix S. Rappaport in 1967.

After serving in the US Army, he worked with the Traveler’s Insurance in 1970 in the New York City office. His career spanned management positions in Garden City, N.Y., to Miami, Fl, Rochester, NY, Naperville, IL and Overland Park, KS and he served as the Regional Director of Human Resources in Hartford, CT. He became Vice President of human Resources of Kemper Insurance Company in Long Grove, IL and then at Kemper Financial Services in Schaumburg, IL before his retirement in 2004. Bob and Janix moved to Niwot, CO in 2006 where he resided until his death.

Bob is survived by his wife Janix, and 2 sons, Robert C. Hogle Jr, (Julie) and Jay P. Hogle. He also leaves two grandchildren, Mallory Hogle and Luke Hogle. Bob was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Yerks and his brother Gen. Walter S. Hogle Jr... Interment of ashes will be at Fort Logan Cemetery with a memorial service at a later date.
