Robert William "Bobby" Tallaksen, 48, passed away on June 22, 2026, in Cascade, Colorado.
Bobby was born on November 16, 1977, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He lived life with an adventurous spirit and found his greatest happiness outdoors. Whether he was skiing down a mountain or spending time on the water, Bobby embraced every opportunity to enjoy nature and make lasting memories with those he loved.
He built his career in the automotive industry, where his passion for cars was evident to everyone who knew him. Some of his favorite moments were taking his son, Riley, to the shop to show him the incredible vehicles he worked around, hoping to share his enthusiasm and create memories that would last a lifetime.
More than anything, Bobby's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being Riley's dad. His love for his son was unconditional and immeasurable. Riley was the center of Bobby's world, and the bond they shared will forever be treasured by those who witnessed it.
Bobby will be lovingly remembered by his family, William Tallaksen; Darcie Tallaksen; his sister, Diane Tallaksen*Goldstein (Joe); his beloved son, Riley Tallaksen; his former wife, Andrea Rose; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and generous heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert William Tallaksen, and his grandmother, Bettie Wooten.
Although Bobby's life ended far too soon, the love he shared and the memories he created will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of the outdoors, his passion for automobiles, his warm smile, and, above all, the deep love he had for his son.
*"Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near."*
