Ronald Dwane Johnson

Ron was born December 28, 1966, in Boise City, Oklahoma to Harvie and Trulene Johnson and was the oldest of two boys.  Ron married the love of his life, Shelly Giroir-Johnson, on March 27, 2003.

Ron lived and grew up in Campo, Colorado where he attended high school playing baseball and several other sports throughout his youth.  After high school, Ron attended Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.  Throughout college, Ron played baseball and obtained a teaching degree. 

In 1998, Ron moved to the Denver area at which time he returned to school and obtained a degree in IT.  Ron worked at IBM as a IT Support Technician supporting Xcel Energy for the past twenty years. 

Ron enjoyed remodeling and was always busy with a project.  He also loved the game of baseball and softball which he played from his early youth until his passing. 

Ron is survived by his wife Shelly Giroir-Johnson; two sons, Kirk and Chandler; stepson, Sean Giroir; parents, Harvie and Trulene Johnson; brother, Lennie (Coantha); and nieces, Chloe and Mallory Johnson.  Ron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cell and Oda Johnson, Tom and Bea Eden, and Edna Miller.
