Rosalie Mary Jaramillo

Rosalie Mary Jaramillo passed away in Longmont, Colorado on January 8, 2021 at a young age of 81.  She was born on December 10, 1939 in Hillrose Colorado, to Anita and Daniel Vigil, she was one of seventeen children. She lived the majority of her life in Fort Lupton, Colorado.  She worked the carrots fields and local canning factory.  After marring her husband Felix Jaramillo, they left their home town and moved to Thornton, Colorado in 1982.  She continued in the work force by working for Adams 12 school District as a dietary cook.  She later retired from Alpine Manor after 26 years of service, as their main Dietary Cook.  She loved working with the elderly population and loved putting smiles on their faces.  She took pride in her cooking and her recipes that she acquired while adding her special touch to every one of them.   Her love for life was in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She loved spending her days watching them play, doing her crossword puzzles, watching the Hallmark channel, listening and dancing to Spanish music.

She is survived by her children, Marvin Jaramillo(Kimberly), Shirley Hernandez(Shane), Sandy Cardenas(Joseph) John Jaramillo, Barbara Jaramillo and Delores Jaramillo; Sisters Judy, Janet, Clara, Pat and Donna; 19 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren . She is preceded in death by both her parents, husband Felix, four sisters; Orlinda, Josie, Betty and Cordy; two brothers; Pete and Albert; her daughter; Tina and two sons; Vincent and Sonny.
