Roy Andres Morales

Roy Andres Morales, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away at home, Sunday, March 11, 2018. Roy was born, August 4, 1933 in Anton Chico, New Mexico to Felipita and Luperto Morales.

Roy was loved and respected by many who knew him and known fondly as Uncle Roy. Roy served in the United States Navy, enlisting December 5, 1955. He lived in Brighton, Colorado most of his life, attending Brighton Public Schools. He was a member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, Colorado. Roy worked for Kuners as a truck driver and salesman for 37 years.

Roy is survived by his children, Roy (MaryAnn) Morales Jr. of Brighton, Colorado, David Morales of Brighton, Colorado, Fred (Charlene) Morales of Lochbuie, Colorado, Marlene Morales, Brighton, Colorado, Andrea Morales of Denver, Colorado; and leaves behind, 13 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Roy is preceded in death by three brothers: Micel, Leo and Severo Morales and one sister, Sally Abeyta.

Visitation will be held, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, Colorado. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton, Colorado. Interment is at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in staging area C.
