Samuel Powell Obituary

Samuel Dean Powell, 84, of Ft. Lupton passed away August 26, 2020.

He was born May 23, 1936 to Howard and Cleo Powell in Kanopolis, Kansas. Sam graduated from high school at Kanopolis High in 1954. He married Wanda Buffington on March 7, 1959. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for 3 1/2 years.

Sam is survived by his sister, Joan; and brothers, Ted, twin brother, Edward and Bert.

A service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 2:00 pm. at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging area “A," 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
