Samuel Sanchez Obituary

In Loving Memory of Samuel Sanchez

Samuel Sanchez, born on December 12, 1942, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 19, 2026, at the age of 83.

Samuel was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, faithful pastor, and servant of God. As a Baptist pastor, he dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel, serving others, and leading people to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. His faith was the cornerstone of his life, and he lived each day with humility, compassion, and unwavering devotion to the Lord.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jan Sanchez, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, faith, and cherished memories. He is also survived by his son, Anthony Sanchez (Barbara Sanchez), who was a source of great pride and joy throughout his life.

Samuel was a proud grandfather to Tanya Sanchez, Samantha Sanchez, Cori Shippy (Michael Shippy), and Janet Hussey (Justin Hussey). He was also blessed with many great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

Samuel's greatest passion was serving God and caring for his family. He spent his life encouraging others through his ministry, his example, and his steadfast faith. Whether from the pulpit, in prayer, or through acts of kindness, he faithfully reflected God's love to everyone he met.

Those who knew Samuel will remember his gentle spirit, his wise counsel, and his unwavering trust in God's promises. His life was a testimony of faith, love, and service, and his legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the family he loved so dearly.

While our hearts grieve his loss, we find comfort in the assurance that Samuel has received his heavenly reward and is now at peace in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23

Samuel's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and he will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who knew him.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7

Forever loved, forever remembered, forever missed.
