Sandra “Sandy” Jo Stepp February 21, 1966~August 6, 2023

Sandy was a caring mother, sister, daughter, niece, aunt, and friend. She passed away suddenly on Sunday August 6, 2023, at the age of 57.

Sandy was born in Lubbock, Texas. to Selma and Robert Stepp on February 21, 1966, she spent most of her life in Colorado where she attended Brighton High School and worked for First Transit RTD as a driver before leaving her position to focus on her family and health.

Sandy loved spending time with family and friends, bowling, camping, and crocheting. She had a love for cars and an even bigger LOVE for her Dallas Cowboys. Sandy enjoyed music and movies. With her loving heart she always helped those in need and became a mother figure too many and was known as “Shelter Mom.”

Sandy is survived by her Daughter Shaili Stepp, Son Kaiden Stepp, Sisters Beverly Depue and Barbara Barber, Brothers Charles, Clayton, and Coven Stepp. Along with multiple nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. She is proceeded in death by both of her parents and brother Ronald.

A viewing for immediate family only will be held at Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton at 10:00 am, followed by a gravesite ceremony at 11:00 am on Wednesday August 16, 2023. Family will be gathering at the Golden Coral in Thornton thereafter.
