Sandra "Sandy" Kay Seader

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Sandra "Sandy" Seader, who passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, surrounded by family.

She was born August 07, 1952, in Brush, CO, the youngest child of the late George Jr. and Ann Seader.

Sandy dedicated her life to Law Enforcement and Public Safety. She earned her associate’s degree in criminology from Metropolitan State University and blazed trails by becoming the first female Sergeant in the Brighton Police Department. After proudly serving the BPD for 21½ years, she continued her career in public safety.

Sandy lived life in the “fast lane” with her love of Corvettes and motorcycles. She took adventures with her brother to Sturgis on her Harley Davidson and found her community and chosen family with her local Corvette club. Whether in her vintage Stingray or her pride and joy C8, she was always ready to ‘save the wave’ to fellow enthusiasts.

She held a deep affection for Elvis Presley and golden era of Las Vegas. She is well known for her unique Elvis collection and the simple pleasure she found in a new chap-stick, a Diet Dr Pepper, a card game at the dinner table or Star Wars marathon. An avid football and baseball fan, before her passing she shared her hope to watch the Denver Broncos win their championship game from heaven. We are glad she got her wish.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at noon with a visitation beginning at 11:00 at the Nativity Lutheran Church - 12500 E 104th Ave., Commerce City, CO 80022.
