Sheila R. Phillips
Sheila Renae Phillips was born in Anchorage, Alaska on July 15, 1969 to Linda S. (Read) Mitchell and John H. Phillips and was the youngest of two children.
From the age of two, her family moved to Denver, Colorado where there are deep roots with family members on both sides going back several generations. In Colorado, Sheila lived the majority of her childhood in Littleton with her maternal grandparents Melba and Walter Read.
Sheila continued living her entire life in Colorado, got her college degree from Metro State College of Denver with a B.S. in Communication and Marketing and spent much of her working career in the financial industry as a money manager/advisor. She earned her financial Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Sheila was giving, talented, beautiful, funny, spirited, and had a strong faith in God. She had a deep love for everyone in her circle of friends and her family, including her mom, dad, brothers, nieces, nephew, great niece, aunts, uncle, and all her cousins and their families, known to many as She-she or Aunt She. She loved spending time with them whether it was giggling over a meal, at a holiday gathering, a concert, or tubing down the hill in Winter Park. She had a passion for her 14 year old Yorkshire terrier, Darby, who was never far from her heart and thoughts.
Sheila is survived by her brothers, Bryan Phillips, Jimmy Masters, and both of her parents. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be held on December 1st, 2022 at the Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 South 13th Avenue, Brighton, CO 80601.
