Stacie Patricia Dunn “Salazar” Mendoza, 48, of Fort Lupton, Colorado, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 29, 1976, in Champaign, Illinois, Stacie was the beloved daughter of Arnold Henry Salazar and Chris Salazar.
Stacie grew up in Fort Lupton, where she graduated from Fort Lupton High School in 1994. She pursued her passion for helping others by earning an associate's degree from PIMA Medical Institute and becoming a Medical Assistant.
In Fort Lupton, Stacie met and married the love of her life, Trinidad Mendoza, with whom she shared a beautiful family. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Michelle Mendoza, Trinidad Mendoza Jr., and Marina Mendoza. Stacie was a proud grandmother to three cherished grandsons, Isaac Infante, Isaiah Gomez, and Ilias Gomez, who brought her immense joy.
Stacie loved spending time with her family, creating treasured memories through camping trips, lively board games, and dancing. Her vibrant personality shone through in her love for the color purple, which brought a special brightness to her life and to those around her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Trinidad Mendoza; her children and grandchildren; her parents, Arnold and Chris Salazar; and her five brothers: Arnold, Michael, Adrian, Bradley, and Joseph Salazar.
Stacie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy of love, laughter, and family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
