Stephen L. Paiz, better known as “Steve”, age 55, passed away on September 4, 2020 at his residence in Brighton. He was born in Denver, Colorado on December 31, 1964 to Tony E. and Carolyn (Garcia) Paiz. He was a graduate from Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado in 1983, where he excelled greatly at wrestling.
For labor Steve worked as a residential and commercial painting contractor, painting numerous homes and businesses in the Denver and Brighton areas. In fact, he was such a talented painter that he was once handpicked to help paint a part of the American Embassy in Germany, where he worked, lived and traveled for a few years of his life. After his painting career Steve became a security guard for Spear Security, which he did for an additional year until his passing. Steve was very well liked and was a devoted member of Landmark Tabernacle Church in Denver. He was very kindhearted, generous, and loving and will be dearly missed by many.
Steve is survived by both parents, Tony and Carolyn (Garcia) Paiz of Brighton, CO. By his brother, Samuel Paiz also of Brighton, CO, along with many numerous first and second cousins, and friends.
