Tanner Wayne Ocker

Tanner Wayne Ocker, 21, lifetime resident of Brighton, passed away on May 4, 2019. He was born on August 27, 1997 to Timothy W. and Wendy R. (Tieman) Ocker. He attended public schools in Brighton. Tanner married Amber Lively on July 22, 2016.

Most recently he worked for Select Energy Services as a laborer in the oil field as well as Xanadu Alpaca Farms in the Frederick area.

Tanner loved the outdoors, clay shooting, fishing, boating and riding his motorcycle. He liked being the center of attention and enjoyed singing karaoke. A hobby for classic cars, he was working on restoring his family’s 66 Chrysler Newport. Tanner was a loving father, his son Jackson always came first.

Survivors include his paternal grandmother, Mary Ann Ocker of Brighton, CO; maternal grandfather, Glenn Tieman of Baytown, TX; parents, Timothy and Wendy of Brighton, CO; wife, Amber and son Jackson of Arvada, CO; brother, Blake Alan of Brighton, CO; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is scheduled Thursday, May 9, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Tabor Funeral Home, Brighton, CO. Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Harvest Fellowship Church, 11401 E. 160th Avenue, Brighton, Colorado, 80602. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton.
