Teresa was born in 1962 in Montrose Colorado to Ray and Sarita Baca. Teresa passed on October 2, 2024, in Denver Colorado.
She is survived by her children, Derek (Evelyn) Lovato, Chelsea Lovato and her beautiful grandsons Dante and Damian. Teresa is also survived by her brother Ray Anthony Baca and sister Debra Baca, many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. And she is survived by all her beloved in-laws including Elma Olivas, Lonnie (Vicki) Lovato, Kennedy (Leonard Owens) Lovato, Martin (Lisa) Lovato, Kateri (Shawn) Hillis, Cabrini (sons Anthony and Enrique) Lovato as well as countless friends including the poker players at the Longmont American Legion.
Teresa is also survived by her husband, Adam Lovato. Teresa and Adam have been married for over 41 wonderful years. They met as teenagers and married on September 3, 1983.
Teresa’s passion in life was being a wonderful Mother and “Glammy”. Raising her children she instilled her spirit and adventure. She devoted her energy to the kids reading, drawing, taking them to museums, zoos and much more. As the children grew, Teresa was always there for baseball, softball, and all other interests the kids had.
More recently came her grandboys Dante and Damian. Teresa was in the room for each of their births. From that moment on she immersed herself in the grandboys. Both loved sleepovers at Glammy’s house or camper which included playing sword fights, creating with playdough, reading, cuddling, laughing watching Blippi and enjoying each and every special moment.
Teresa was a free spirit that did not always conform with society’s norms. She loved native American and Eastern spirituality. Teresa was also a very good poker player regularly beating and taking cash from her husband Adam and any other person that dare tempt fate.
We will miss our beautiful Teresa and look forward to seeing her again.
We love you.
