Terry Francis Williams ,69, of Brighton, passed away September 30, 2020. He was born on February 13, 1951 in Pierre, South Dakota to Harry and Ethel (Hauschild) Williams. He was the 5th of 7 siblings. He married the love of his life, Najia Stepura on July 7, 1975, for 45 years.
He was raised in the Canning/Ft. Pierre South Dakota area, on a large farm before moving to Colorado in 1968.
In his youth in South Dakota, worked on large sections of land with his father and brothers. They had also harvested crops with their equipment from Texas back to South Dakota. Worked at the Brighton Blade at night while going to school during the day in Brighton. He had worked on oil fields in early 70’s, worked in construction and warehouses. What he enjoyed the most, was being a truckdriver. He would tell stories about the places he went and people he met. While at home he was constantly tinkering with lawn tractors, cars and anything to keep his mind and body busy. He loved warm waters, oceans and rivers, so he could jet ski in Colorado and Arizona with his family and friends.
Terry is survived by his wife Najia and daughter Angela. Sister, Judy Smith (Vincent) New York, brother, Howard Williams (Cheryl) Eaton, Colorado, brother, Kie Williams (Arizona) and sister, Dr. Patsy WilliamsLowe (Robert) of Evans, Colorado., step-brother Jerry Williams (Nancy) of Oklahoma. Nieces and nephews, Dede, Shane, Sonya, Tina, Brian.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Harry and Ethel Williams, oldest brother Lionell Williams, sister Debby Williams, nephew, Terry Williams, niece Dawn Steber and step-sister Beverly Jackson (Victor) Jackson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9th, at Tabor Rice Funeral home at 11:00 a.m.
