Tiffany Nicastle Obituary

Tiffany Noel (Baumann) Nicastle was born Dec. 12, 1985 in Longmont, CO to her adoring parents, Todd and Julie, and big brother Tate. After a very short 2-month battle with Neuroendocrine cancer, Tiffany was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on May 10, 2022 with family by her side.

Tiffany grew up and attended schools in Berthoud from preschool through high school. Growing up she was always on the go doing swimming lessons, gymnastics, basketball, 4-H, church activities and her favorite-activities with her brother. She played basketball and volleyball in both middle school and high school and later recreational volleyball. Not only was she an amazing teammate, but she was also an amazing setter and fast on the courts! Through her childhood and teenage years, she made many trips to SD to visit family there and was known as the “7th Tetrault sister” filling in the age gap perfectly. She graduated from Berthoud High in 2004 and went on to Aims community college and received her AA degree in Surgical Technology.  She worked in plastic surgery for 11 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

She met the love of her life, Kevin, in 2007 through mutual friends and hit it off instantly. They were married 3 years later, in 2010.  Tiffany always told Kevin, “You are the luckiest man in the world because I am the only one who would put up with your crap!” But Tiffany also knew how lucky she was to have a devoted and faithful best friend who adored her. After 4 years of annual Mexico vacations, containing some of their favorite memories, they decided to start a family.  Giving Tiffany the title of “boy-mom”, which she was undoubtedly put on this earth to be, Kasen was born in 2014. Doubling the size of her heart, Kamden joined the family in 2018. Her boys were her pride and joy. They share all of the most beautiful parts about her and will carry this beauty for the world to see and for us to remember her for the rest of their lives.

Those that knew Tiff, will never forget her contagious smile and treasured laugh. It was hard to catch her in a moment that she didn’t have a smile on her face and a positive comment to go with it., although she did have a streak of sneaky humor and sass when she needed it!  She and Kevin’s faith was strong and her will to fight was even stronger.  She fought until the last moment when her body was unable to match her will to fight. Kevin was by her side from day one and he never stopped doting on her. Although our hearts are shattered, we know she is now pain-free and in the arms of our beautiful Savior. We will never forget her smile and laugh, and we know that her light will shine down on us and live in our hearts forever.

She is survived by husband Kevin; sons Kasen and Kamden; her parents, Julie and Todd Baumann, brother Tate, all of Berthoud, CO; grandmother, Hannah Baumann of Loveland, CO; mother and father-in-law, Mark and Robin Nicastle, Hudson, CO; brother-in-law/sister-in-law Mike and Kristen; brother-in-law Kory; and sister-in- law/brother-in-law Laura and Clayton Rodeback; 7 nieces and nephews, all from CO.  Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from AK, CO, SD, TX, and Western Samoa. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Wally Baumann; maternal grandparents, Allen and Mary Alice Tetrault.
