Tim Arthur Macy

Tim Macy was born in Greeley, Colorado to Wm. Arthur Macy and Evelyn Irene (Cutler) Macy, the youngest to his sister Cindy. He attended Greeley Central High School. It was in Greeley he met the love of his life Pamela Jo Wheaton. They were married in Greeley on November 28th, 1987. Soon after marrying they moved to Ft. Morgan, CO where they welcomed their first child, Winston.
In Ft. Morgan Tim worked cutting meat in the packing house. In late 1988 they moved to McIntosh Dairy where Tim worked for several years. It was there that they welcomed their second child Cassie. Tim moved to Brighton with his mother Evelyn and his children after the loss of his wife in 1997.
It was in Brighton that he was surrounded by wonderful neighbors who became cherished friends. A frequent joke in the neighborhood was that Tim served as the block’s security guard. You could often find him on the front porch offering a wave and quick conversation to neighbors and passerby’s.
Tim spent most of his adult life serving as a caretaker for his loved ones. Serving selflessly is just one of the many ways he will be remembered. In his free time he enjoyed wood working projects, creating beautiful pieces in his garage while listening to his favorite music. He enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Raiders, while being hassled by the local Bronco fans.
Tim is survived by son Winston (Samantha) Macy, daughter Cassie (Devin) Calcote, sister Cindy (Ken) Cihak, 4 Grandsons Orion, Kade, Rhett, and Lincoln, one Granddaughter Evie, mother-in-law Caroll Wheaton, brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his wife, both parents, and father-in-law Tom Wheaton.
