Verna D. (Rodriguez) Barnard passed away on May 10, 2021 in Brighton, Colorado.

She was born in Belle Fourche, South Dakota on August 19, 1948 to Joe Rodriguez and Tomie Martinez. Verna was raised in Denver, Colorado. She was oldest of six siblings. She was married to her late husband William (Mickey) Barnard.

Verna is survived by her three sons: Leon Jackson, Matthew (Melanie) Jackson, and Sean Barnard; eight grandkids, and five great grandkids. In her mother’s arms, she is preceded in death by her siblings Lydia, David and Danny; and her nephew, Adrian.
