William "Willie" Helm was born on March 6th, 1984, and lived 42 years with intention, curiosity, and an unmistakable spirit that left a mark on everyone who knew him.
Willie was a true rocker at heart. He loved music the way he loved life — fully and without apology. Guns N' Roses, The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie. Artists as big and complicated and beautiful as he was.
He was a lifelong learner and seeker, passionate about knowledge in all its forms and dedicated to a sincere and personal spiritual path that he walked with quiet intention. He faced life's difficulties with resilience and met its joys with an open heart.
Willie loved fiercely and deeply. He was the kind of person who felt everything — and when the people he cared about were hurting, he was hurting right alongside them. He showed up. He prayed quietly for the ones he loved. He gave more than most people knew.
Willie is survived by his father Eric Helm, his mother Angela, his brothers Max, Richie, and Danny, and his niece Erika and nephew Dylan.
He was loved. He is missed. And he will not be forgotten.
