William "Alan" Latham, 50, of Thornton passed away on June 11, 2005 in Denver, Colorado. He was born on November 6, 1954 in Sterling, Colorado to William J. & Irene (Kieffer) Latham. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1973. On May 10, 2005 he married Heather Sprinkle in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Alan worked for Frontier & United Airlines as a Ramp Agent for the last 5 years. Before that, he worked for Gunter Oil in Ft. Lupton. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed laughing and being with his family. He loved his son Levi and was a hard worker because he loved his job. Alan was a true kid at heart who loved to go to the mountains on his bike. Little kids and elders particularly loved Alan because of his ability to communicate with them. Alan cherished his ability to live life and ride. He also enjoyed working in his yard.
Alan is survived by his wife Heather of Thornton; mother Irene Latham of Ft. Lupton; son Levi Latham of Ft. Lupton; sister Janet Wiley of Ft. Lupton; brother Jeff Latham of Denver & sister Barbara Provancal of Aurora.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2005 at Hillside Cemetery in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. To get to Hillside Cemetery take Highway 85 north to the Ft. Lupton/Highway 52 exit. Go right (east) on Highway 52 to Denver Avenue. Turn right (south) on Denver Avenue to Road 12. Turn left (east) on Road 12 go about 1 mile, cemetery is on the right hand side.
