Yolanda Maxine Stone, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully June 13, 2026, in Westminster, Colorado, at the age of 81.
Yolanda was born in Antonito, CO on June 12th 1945. She was born to Max and Delubina Quintana. She was 1 of 10 children, 7 girls (Lucille, Patty, Arlene, Irene, Lourdes, Darlene, Yolanda) and 3 boys (Alonso, Stanley, Gregory) she was the baby of the girls.
She went on and married Joseph Stone on October 14th 1961 and had 4 boys Jerry, Mark, Donald, and Michael. The Stone family continued to grow; Joe and Yolanda were blessed with 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Yolanda loved spending time with family, her husband Joe and her grandchildren were her life. If you talked to Yoli you were bound to hear how great every last one of her grand kids were from looks, to sports or even if it was how they shared her sass. Yolanda loved to laugh and she was able to light up the room doing so.
She was raised with love which she carried with her through her entire life. Yolanda was known for her kindness, strength, generosity, and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She touched the lives of many through her caring nature and the countless ways she put others before herself. Her presence brought comfort and her wisdom will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Yolanda leaves behind her husband Joseph, and kids Jerry, Donald and Michael and all her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Max and Delubina Quintana, her siblings Lucille, Patty, Arlene, Irene, Lourdes, and Alonso, and her child Mark Stone.
Services to celebrate the life of Yolanda will be held at a later date. The family will share details once arrangements have been finalized.
