Zane William Wolters

Zane a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on March 2nd at the young age of 16 years old.

Zane was born and raised in Brighton, Colorado. He began his educational journey at Zion Lutheran School, where he nurtured his faith in Jesus Christ and forged lifelong friendships. This foundation of faith and community remained a cornerstone of his life. He continued his education at Riverdale Ridge High School, where he excelled both academically and athletically.

Zane was a natural athlete, showcasing his versatility by playing football during his freshman year. However, his true passion lay on the wrestling mat. He was a dedicated and talented wrestler, finding camaraderie and joy in his teammates. He poured his heart into the sport, creating lasting bonds with his fellow wrestlers.

Zane was a charismatic young man with a smile that could light up any room. His warm and genuine personality allowed him to make friends wherever he went. He cherished his family above all else. He was the best big brother to his sister, Shayla, whom he adored. He was incredibly proud of her accomplishments, especially her own wrestling prowess, and never missed an opportunity to share her achievements with others. His parents were his closest confidants, and he treasured the time they spent together, whether it was a simple family dinner at home or a day on the boat at Pueblo Reservoir.

An avid fisherman, Zane found peace and joy in the tranquility of the water. No matter where he traveled, he always sought out an opportunity to cast a line. His love for fishing was a reflection of his patient and nature.

Zane's unwavering faith in the Lord guided him throughout his life. He was passionate about sharing his faith with others, hoping to inspire and uplift those around him.

He will be deeply missed by his parents, Eddie and Holly, his sister, Shayla, his Grandma and Grandpa Wolters, Grandma and Grandpa Jackson. His Aunt Amber, Uncle Miah, Uncle Wes, Aunt Angel, Uncle Shaun and Aunt Laura his cousins Scarlette, Harlow, Danika, Hunter and Luke and a multitude of friends. His memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
