Adam Sack Obituary

Adam A. Sack, 84, of Limon, passed away on November 29, 2018 in his home. He was born on August 31, 1934 in Brighton, Colorado to Adam B. and Julia M. (Heit) Sack. Adam was a 1955 graduate of Brighton High School.

After graduating high school he enlisted in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Adam worked for the old REA for numerous years and also spent a few years working for Robinson Dairy. In the early 1970’s Adam became self-employed with the vending machine business until he retired in late 1990. He then moved to Matheson, Colorado and started working at the TA Truck Stop in Limon.

Adam was a very generous and giving man; a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa (Richard) Parker of Westminster, CO; brothers, George and LeRoy (Brenda) of Ft. Lupton, CO, Leonard, Robert (Linda), Don of Brighton, CO; sisters Betty (Ken) Hurley of Ft. Lupton, CO and Shirley (Stan) Elliot of Louisville, CO, Eileen Buckley of Broomfield, CO, Carla (Tom) Morrissey of Arvada, CO and Diane Schissler of Brighton, CO; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by both parents; son, Michael in 2018; three brothers, Edward, Bernie and Richard.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, Brighton, CO; Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. both at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Brighton, CO. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton, Colorado.
