Dwight Andrew Dickman, 74, of Brighton, passed away on April 14, 2019. He was born on August 26, 1944 in Denver, Colorado to Helen E. Dickman and Andrew Dickman. He graduated from Brighton High School in 1962.
Dwight was raised in farming and enjoyed working with animals and taking care of the farm with his family. He was married to Carla Theobald for 15 years. Later in life, he worked in the transportation industry as a driver. His passions throughout life always included his family, gardening, being active in politics, his church and always the love for any animals that came into his life.
Survivors include his children, Christopher (Emily) Wittkowski, Gretchen Wittkowski, Helen (Russell) Lewis and Sarah (Christopher) Aragon, his sister and brother Sonya Merrick and Lee (Yose) Dickman, his nephews John Merrick, Mark Dickman, Jeff (Jen) Dickman, his great nieces and nephews, his grandchildren Amelia Gail, James Carl, Gideon Andrew, Greyson Thomas and Andrew Christopher.
Dwight is preceded in death by his parents, Helen E. Dickman and Andrew Dickman, Amelia and Gene Anderson.
Viewing at 10:00am on April 19, 2019 with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00am at The Healing Place Church (3599 E. Bridge St, Brighton, CO 80601).
