Eugene R. Clermont

Eugene R. Clermont, 76, of Fort Lupton, Colorado passed away on March 31, 2018 in Brighton, Colorado.

Eugene was born April 10, 1941, to Alfred and Nellie (Dudley) Clermont in Sterling, Colorado. Eugene attended Brighton schools and joined The United States Marines in 1960.

He moved to Commerce City after his military service, worked as a carpenter doing side jobs for people and driving trucks. In 1975 he moved to Fort Lupton, Colorado and worked for the City of Fort Collins, Water Supply and Storage, Department of Cleaning, maintaining the water for city for 30 years.

He loved to fish and hunt in the Pagosa Springs area. He loved his dog, Bandit, riding his Harley and hunting for arrowheads. He loved working on old cars and trucks.

Eugene is preceded in death by his father, Alfred F. Clermont, mother Nellie B. Clermont, brother, Alfred T. Clermont and sister Sandra T. (Don) Williams. Eugene is survived by his sister, Ellen (Joel) Kling, numerous nieces and nephews and two special cousins, Ed and Calvin Clermont.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Hudson in Hudson, Colorado. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton, Colorado.
