Obituary
Harold “Jerry” Montano, age 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2018 , at North Suburban Medical Center in Thornton, CO. He was born June 22, 1940, in Brighton, to Louis and Lucy (Roybal) Montano and was a graduate of Brighton High School. Harold then married Hope (Jaramillo) Montano on August 24th, 1984 at the St. Augustine Catholic Church and worked as a maintenance worker for both JC Penny and Pepsi until he retired.
Harold enjoyed fishing, camping outdoors, making bird houses for fellow nursing home residents, and spending time with his lovely wife whom he affectionately nicknamed “Hopey”. Harold was known to never hold a grudge because he possessed a loving/caring personality that will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
Harold is survived by his two sisters, Irene Romero and Adeline Mirelez, along with his brother George Montano and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brother, Gene Montano.
