Keegan Y. Fushimi, 35, passed away June 28, 2018. Keegan was born in Denver, Colorado, March 7, 1983 to Debora and Glenn Fushimi.
Keegan graduated Brighton High School in 2002, attended Colorado Mountain College and Front Range Community College. He recently worked for Elite Services as a Pipeline Technician and spent time with Sturgeon Electric and Plains Gas and Oil Company.
Keegan cherished his friends, collecting John Deere Tractors and guns and loved his Ford Trucks. He enjoyed hunting, skiing, fishing, lately for crawfish, trapping, shooting clay, older country music, attending the annual Adams County Fair, and the stock show. Keegan loved international travel: Japan, Switzerland, Italy, England, France, Germany, Holland and Mexico. United States: Hawaii, Washington DC, Washington State, California, Alaska, Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Nashville, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma City and New Orleans.
Keegan is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Yo & Kaz Fushimi and maternal grandparents, Helen and Dennis Tokunaga; he is survived by his, parents, Glenn and Debora Fushimi of Brighton; twin brother, Bryce Fushimi of Brighton; sister Desiree (Christopher) Rosch of Germany; niece Arianna Rosch and nephew Declan Rosch; Aunt Suzanne, husband Ken Tanaka of Oklahoma City and their Children Danyel and Taryn. Uncle Walter and wife Joanne Tokunaga of Commerce City Uncle Bob and wife Clovia Fushimi of Golden and their children Tonya Newbill and Tia Bain.
In lieu of flowers a donation page has been set up through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a charity Keegan regularly donated to.
