Leroy B. Brown

Leroy B. Brown, 82, of Brighton, passed away on February 1, 2018 in Brighton. He was born on May 14, 1935 in Denver, Colorado to Ben B. and Marie K. (Brown) Brown. He was a 1953 graduate of Brighton High School. Leroy married Lena R. Long in April of 1959 in Golden, Colorado.

Leroy was a lifetime resident of Brighton where he owned and operated Brown's Drywall for many years. He was a member of the Brighton BPOE 1586 and St. Augustine Catholic Church. Leroy loved to hunt and fish; enjoyed family time and being around his great grandkids.

Survivors include his sons, Mark (Brenda) of Brighton, CO; Monty (Becky) of Brighton, CO and Marvin (Deann) of West Liberty, OH; sisters, Martina Williams of Fort Collins, CO, Benny Brown of Thornton, CO and Norma Scott of Arkansas; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Rosary is scheduled for Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. both at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Brighton, Colorado. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton.
