Patrick Tabor

Patrick Tabor

Owner & Licensed Funeral Director

For Pat Tabor, owning his own funeral business has been an aspiration of his since graduating from Mortuary Science School. In January 2000, his dream was realized when he and his wife, Christine, opened Tabor Funeral Home. As a licensed Funeral Director, Tabor has served families in Brighton, Ft. Lupton and the surrounding communities since 1989. Pat and his wife, Christine, planted their roots in the Brighton community where they have happily raised their four children, Allison, Michael, Collin and Adam. Besides the demands of his busy family, Pat is an active member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Brighton Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, and Knights of Columbus. He is also active with the Brighton DECA Program. “Our motto is, ‘our family helping your family,’” exclaims Tabor. “We promise to give genuinely, tender service and individualized choices.”

After earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Psychology at Webster University in St. Louis, MO, Collin’s dream was always to follow in his father’s footsteps.  A life-long resident of Brighton and surrounding areas, Collin wishes to carry on the family business and name, and will continue to provide his hometown with professional and dedicated services when it comes to taking care of your loved ones. Collin is devoted to perfecting his craft and has future plans to earn his master’s degree in mortuary science to further enhance his career goals of becoming the best professional mortician he can be.  He is an alumni of both Brighton High School where he was a three sport athlete and DECA program participant, and Webster University where he played collegiate basketball.  He is a member of both St. Augustine Catholic Church in Brighton and Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Denver, a future husband to Annelise Sanchez, a loyal son and brother and a hard, enthusiastic worker.

Stephanie Grein

Office Manager

Stephanie joined the Tabor Funeral Home staff in 2019.

She was raised in Nebraska prior to her family’s move to Brighton, Colorado in 2000.  After graduating Brighton High School, Stephanie intended to major in nursing and attended both the University of Colorado-Denver and Metro State College, in Denver.  While pursuing her degree, she began working in the funeral industry, following in her father’s footsteps, and quickly learned this was the field she was meant to serve in.  She brings over 18 years of experience working within the funeral industry to Tabor Funeral Home families.  Stephanie is dedicated to “helping with the details as our staff assists families in creating a meaningful and personal tribute to their loved one’s legacy.”

Stephanie is married to Steven Grein, a native of Brighton, and they have three children.  Stephanie and her family are members of Zion Lutheran Church and School, in Brighton.
